The Logdominus Story.

Logdominus is a fingerprint biometric IOT device designed and engineered to meet the unique needs of schools. The device works with the schools existing software, portal or website to provide an ID platform that works with a user friendly desktop application anywhere in the school. The device is used when indisputable proof of student ID is required.

Logdominus adds speed and control to any area of operation that uses student ID. No more lost or stolen ID cards, or shared PINs. Logdominus is more accurate, saves time and more economical since there is no cost in enrolling more people or catering for lost or damaged cards compared to the old methods of student ID verification.

Security wise no fingerprint is stored but rather each fingerprint is encrypted into random numerical templates which is stored in addition to individual profiles on the student’s website or portal.

Currently the logdominus software application has four features thus; the exam verification, hostel verification, library verification and the latest addition, a ‘quiz section’ this allows lecturers to set questions online and generate an encrypted link to the questions online, the student version of the logdominus application is then used to decrypt the link and block access to all other websites for the quiz duration
